I recently read that, according to the American Customer Satisfaction Index, the average rate of customer satisfaction with software is 76%. For users of Diplomat MFT, Coviant Software customers gave us an average of 94%. Ninety four percent. That means Diplomat MFT does what we say it will do, simply and reliably, every time. That also means that when you’ve got a question, one of our people will answer that question and give you the help you need, every time.
And while 94% is an outstanding number, it also means that we see an opportunity to do better and that’s why we continue to work on improvements to both our product and our service. We recently added an SFTP server to our product portfolio and we’ve got some nifty new features that we’ll be announcing soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that. We believe that, once those things are out in the market, we’ll see that number climb. Maybe 96% or even higher.
Even if we hit 100%, we might pop the cork on a bottle of champagne, but we probably won’t take the time to sip it. We will not rest on our laurels. That’s not what got us to number one in the managed file transfer industry. Complacency is a dangerous sentiment in technology, and we’ll not be satisfied to know that, while our customers are delighted with our product, that survey took time to complete and process and so the number is already old. Yes, we’re number one; but we want to be number one again next year. And the year after that.
