Diplomat MFT REPLICATION & SYNCHRONIZATION

Let us know your data transfer requirements and we’ll be in touch

Distribution, Synchronization, and Replication jobs to or from the Diplomat Remote Agent or any other endpoint, from center to edge and beyond

Don’t let end-of-life software stress you out! Coviant Software’s Diplomat MFT Enterprise Edition offers intuitive, comprehensive, and resilient replication capabilities with its Synchronization transaction type. Simply define what you’d like to include and/or exclude, the source you’d like to use, and however many destinations should be made to look like that source. All from the comfort of your favorite browser.

While most often the source is locally accessible storage, either attached or from a network share, it can actually be any endpoint, whether cloud storage sources or an SFTP server, or nearly anything else supported by Diplomat.

Diplomat can synchronize that source directory structure to any number of destinations. Those destinations are often installations of the Diplomat Remote Agent, offering extensive control, very strong security, and a high level of confidence with SHA-256 checksum integrity validation. But they can be any other endpoint, too, like another UNC path, or an SFTP server internal or external, a cloud storage provider, anything supported by Diplomat that meets your needs.

Let’s take a look at the specifics of Synchronization options, setting your Source and Destinations, the powerful Diplomat Remote Agent, and optionally replicating ACLs for local-to-local replication.

Synchronization Transactions

Exactly the right options are available for your replication and distribution needs. You can specify whatever you’d like to include and exclude, whether to do so recursively to get the entire folder structure, whether to remove items at the destination that are no longer present at the source, and more. It’s quick, easy, and intuitive.

Select the Source and Destinations

You can choose any source you like, though the most common is a local UNC path or attached storage. You can then provide one or many destinations for the job. They can be Diplomat Remote Agents (more on that below), UNC paths, SFTP servers, cloud storage endpoints, or mix and match as needed.

Experience the Power of the Diplomat Remote Agent

Centralize your control with Diplomat’s Remote Agent. With next-level security, strong resilience, high confidence, and detailed configuration options, the Remote Agent provides everything you need to cross domain boundaries, minimize business risk, and avoid cyberattacks. Install the Remote Agent on any Windows, Linux, or Solaris system you control or those of partners who trust you to control the exchange data.

Verify file integrity and enable advanced checkpoint restart functionality with SHA-256 checksums. Enable streaming encryption over the TLS-encrypted connection. Bind the Remote Agent to your internal Diplomat MFT implementation, whether a cluster or a single instance, with OpenPGP key-based authentication. Shape bandwidth utilization to avoid saturating weak links. Process large files in more manageable chunks to ensure that if any problems are encountered, only that chunk need be retransmitted. You can even run scripts, batch files, or utilities on the Remote Agent system after the job is complete! Don’t let flaky or slow connections get you down.
