AI Time Journal recently published the ebook Cybersecurity Trends 2023, examining important threats and developments that emerged during the year. One of those trends, associated with cyberattacks targeting certain managed file transfer products, was included. Coviant Software CEO Greg Hoffer was among those commenting on that situation.
Among his observations, Greg said:
“Many organizations take for granted that the software solutions they purchase and deploy are secure by design, only to find out this is not the case. 2023 demonstrated the frailty of many important back-office systems that had been hiding in the shadows. As a result, 2024 will see some much-needed focus on properly ensuring (rather than assuming) security.” — Greg Hoffer, CEO, Coviant Software
