What is Nest?
Nest is a defined contribution workplace pension scheme in the United Kingdom used to facilitate and manage pension enrolment. Any UK employer can use Nest to comply with the 2008 Pensions Act, and since the data exchanged with Nest is sensitive, including personal and financial account information, it must be protected in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
To ensure data security, SFTP is a preferred protocol for data transfers to and from Nest because of its strong encryption and integrity checking, ensuring the highest levels of authentication and encryption.
